Aree of focus

Into My World is a versatile project that addresses different categories of users with neuropsychiatric disorders, offering comprehensive support for each of them. The areas of intervention focus on common problems such as autism, developmental disorders and learning disabilities, but our approach is always customised to the specific needs of each individual. Each section of our project is designed to work in synergy with the users and their families, educators, and therapists.

Autism and Developmental Disorders

Autism is a spectrum disorder that manifests itself with difficulties in social interaction, communication and repetitive behaviour.

Into My World is designed to respond to these difficulties in an innovative way, using a therapeutic video game that stimulates communication, socialisation and emotion management in a playful and engaging way.

Main objectives in autism:

Improve communication skills: through the video game, users can practise expressing themselves, recognising emotions and responding to social situations.

Support social interaction: gaming stimulates contact with other users, helping users to feel more comfortable in social contexts.

Strengthening emotion management: play helps to recognise and manage emotions safely, reducing anxiety and frustration.

The video game allows dynamic learning, facilitated by graphics and challenges that are never boring or stressful, but always engaging.

Our approach is focused on capabilities, not limitations, and the game provides positive feedback for every small success.

Intellectual disabilities

Intellectual disabilities refer to conditions that affect cognitive functions, such as reasoning, problem-solving and
adaptation to everyday situations.

Into My World supports users with intellectual disabilities through a game that adapts difficulties and proposes challenges appropriate to each user’s developmental level, stimulating critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Main objectives for intellectual disabilities:

Stimulate cognitive skills: the game offers activities that help develop memory, attention and problem-solving skills.

– Increase autonomy: thanks to the customisation of the game, users learn to make decisions independently, improving self-efficacy.

Boost self-confidence: completing challenges and reaching goals in the game reinforces the perception of competence and ability.

Learning Disorders

Learning disorders, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia, affect the ability to acquire school and cognitive skills in a traditional way. Into My World provides playful and interactive activities to improve reading, writing and mathematics in an individual manner adapted to the user’s specific needs.

Main objectives for learning disorders:

Support reading and writing: interactive activities are designed to improve reading and writing fluency, respecting the user’s learning time.

Simplify mathematics: the video game helps visualise mathematical concepts, making learning more concrete and less frustrating.

Supporting self-learning: users learn to tackle and overcome difficulties at their own pace, without external pressure.

Customisation of content allows difficulties to be addressed in a positive way, fostering continuous improvement.

The collaborative approach between users, family members, educators and doctors ensures a comprehensive and continuous support pathway.

Support for Families and Educators

A key aspect of Into My World is the involvement of families and educators, who play a key role in supporting users.

The platform offers progress monitoring tools, educational advice and personalised feedback to support the daily work of carers of children and adults with neuropsychiatric disorders.

What we offer families and educators:

Monitoring tools: by collecting behavioural and performance data, parents and teachers can follow progress and adapt support.

Integration between school and home: the game becomes a means to coordinate interventions between school and family environments.

Remote support: professionals can access the portal to view and analyse user data and intervene promptly.
